This January marks an exciting milestone for the team at GBUK, as we return to the gastrostomy market with the launch of our new Nutricare™ range. With more than 20 years of experience in enteral feeding devices, this launch represents a renewed commitment to innovation, evidence-based design and meaningful choice for both clinicians and patients.
GBUK has long been a trusted supplier of enteral devices across the UK. This launch marks our return with our own branded gastrostomy solutions, carefully developed by our team, with clinical insight, patient comfort and practical use in mind.
The Nutricare™ range launches with two key products: the Nutricare™ low profile balloon gastrostomy button kit and the Nutricare™ compact gastrostomy balloon tube. Together, they offer clinicians a broader range of options to support individual patient requirements, whilst maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
Our Nutricare™ low profile balloon gastrostomy button kit has been engineered to be the smallest and most discreet gastrostomy button, compared to major market alternatives. The reduced profile aims to minimise skin contact and enhance comfort. These factors are particularly important for patients requiring long-term enteral access.
Alongside this, the Nutricare™ compact gastrostomy balloon tube offers something genuinely different. Sitting between a traditional low-profile button and a standard-length gastrostomy tube, it is ideal for situations where a low-profile button isn’t appropriate, and a longer gastrostomy tube is too cumbersome. Our hybrid design offers the perfect balance of comfort, practicality and discretion.
Always at the forefront of our new product development, is sustainability. The Nutricare™ feed sets, part of the new Nutricare™ product range have twice the usable life, compared with market leading alternatives, aiding sustainability targets and reducing waste.
As with all our enteral products, Nutricare™ is supported by our experienced team of enteral specialists. We are here to provide advice, training and ongoing support, helping clinicians feel confident in product selection and patient care. We are also introducing a direct-to-patient home delivery service for the Nutricare™ range, the GBUK Home Hub. This service is intended to streamline the supply of products as well as supporting continuity of care and reducing pressure on clinical teams.
