Enteral Feeding Devices

An enteral feeding device delivers nutrition, fluids or medication directly into the digestive system when a patient cannot eat or drink normally. Our range includes feeding tubes, gastrostomy and jejunostomy devices, drainage bags and the syringes and accessories used alongside them.

ENFit is the international ISO 80369-3 standard for enteral connectors. It’s designed to prevent misconnections between feeding equipment and other medical devices, such as IV lines. GBUK’s feeding tubes, syringes and accessories are ENFit-compliant as standard.

Nasogastric (NG) feeding uses a tube passed through the nose into the stomach and is typically used for shorter-term feeding. Gastrostomy feeding uses a tube placed directly through the abdominal wall into the stomach and is generally used for longer-term needs. This can be a Gastrostomy tube with an ENFit connector or a Button device.

Most feeding tube set-ups also need compatible syringes, extension sets, connector caps and fixation devices. GBUK’s ENFit accessory range is designed to work across the feeding tube portfolio.
