NHS Intravenous Cannula and Associated Products Framework
GBUK has been appointed to the NHSSC Intravenous Cannula and Associated Products Framework, commencing in April 2027 for a four-year period.
Supported by a specialist clinical team and RCN accredited education this appointment further strengthens GBUK’s commitment to providing high-quality vascular access solutions that support clinical efficiency, patient safety and the needs of healthcare professionals across England.
What Does the Framework Include?
GBUK has been appointed to supply a range of safety intravenous cannulas , including:
- Safety Peripheral Intravenous Cannula – Non-Winged
- Safety Peripheral Intravenous Cannula – Ported with Wings
- Safety Peripheral Intravenous Cannula – Ported with Wings and Immediate Flashback Indication
- Safety Peripheral Intravenous Cannula – Non-Ported with Wings
- Safety Integrated Cannula – Dual Port with Two Needle-Free Devices

As part of this appointment, the GBUK vascular access team have been invited to attend the NHS Supply chain IV Cannula Framework supplier event at Newbury Racecourse on 15th October 2026.
