Nutricare™ Low Profile Button Gastrostomy Button Kit
The Nutricare™ Button is intended to provide feed, medication/hydration directly into the stomach, through the abdominal wall. It may also be used for gastric decompression. It is intended for placement into an established gastrostomy stoma tract, as well as for initial placement into a newly established Gastrostomy stoma tract with the use of gastropexy sutures.
- Extra small footprint to allow for air circulation and comfort
- Apple shaped balloon for an effective seal at the stoma tract
- Durable balloon, so water loss is reduced due to gas barrier design, allowing for monthly water changes
- Size specific introducer to aid insertion if required The tip of the introducer corresponds with the button shaft length, and will not protrude past the tube tip
- Tapered tip for ease of insertion
- Variable fill balloon to tailor balloon fill for better patient fit
- Soft silicone for patient comfort
- Radiopaque line for visibility on X-ray
- Convenient kit includes three feed sets, a size specific introducer, gauze and balloon inflation syringe
- Clearly marked balloon inflation port clearly marked with recommended fill volume, for convenience
