The AutoSelector Continuous is intended for continuous and/or intermittent infusion of medication for general infusion use, including antibiotic, chemotherapy & pain management therapies.The AutoSelector is a disposable balloon pump with an integrated flow regulator that allows for flexible programming. There are multiple choices in flow rates and PCA options which allow you to customize your patient’s pain protocol, and the reservoir design significantly reduces pressure needed to fill the balloon. Both the continuous and the bolus type offer two varieties of pumps-A type & B type for varying basal rates. The A type ranges from 0.5ml/hr to 7.0ml/hr, and the B type ranges from 1.0ml/hr to 14.0ml/hr. The pain management system promotes an increase in patient mobility, faster recovery, fewer re-admissions, decreased narcotic usage and lower infection rates.
