Flo F3

Making caring for your patient safer and dignified. The Flo F3 revolutionises how we care for plus size patients. It is the only device of its type to assist with inserting and removing equipment without the need to physically touch the patient. Repositioning or turning plus size patients can often be seen as a manoeuvre which requires more time and an increased number of staff.

However, the Flo F3 is able to achieve both of these with a reduced number of staff, while improving safety by reducing the risk of potential manual handling injuries.

The Flo F3 kit comes complete with 4 inflatable air pads and 4 Flo F3 covers. These air pads are inserted whilst deflated in sequential order. Using an air compressor, air is inserted into each chamber of the inflatable air pads, which raises the patient off the surface. Once all 4 pads are in place and inflated, patient handling device(s) and/or items underneath the patient can be inserted or removed, and the patient is able to be repositioned, turned or laterally transferred with ease.
