HeimlichValve
The Heimlich valve is connected to the catheter via the tapered connector. The valve allows air to vent from the patient’s chest but prevents any backflow.
Heimlich Valve Chest Drain
The Heimlich valve is also available as a complete set with a pre-attached collection bag. The 2000 ml tapped bag allows emptying of liquid and an air vent valve to evacuate air-leaks from patient
Patient Tube
The valve is also available in a patient’s tube kit to reduce compliance in paediatric and neonatal thoracic drainage
